10 No-Fuss Ways to Figuring Out Your trứng rung tình yêu không dây

Adult continuing education is very practical. Seniors have several advantages over children.

* Better memory (truly!)

* Experience

* Fewer distractions

————-

Better memory

Doctors thought that you couldn’t grow new brain cells, so as old cells died you became more stupid. They now know that the more adult continuing education, the more http://sinhly16.net/trung-rung-tinh-yeu-10-kieu-chong-tham-nuoc-remote-2018/ new brain cells you get. You can even delay Alzheimer’s disease by keeping your brain active.

But old people keep forgetting things! That’s true, because what you remember best are startling, new, shocking things. To an old person it’s a case of “been there, done that”. Nothing is new or shocking.

However, you often have to learn boring things, and there you have an advantage. Seniors trounced the kids in a test of memorizing meaningless words. My book about exams will show you how to make your adult continuing education more exciting, which cuts kid’s advantage over your memory.

———-

Experience

You learn from the known to the unknown. So it’s logical that the more experience you have, the more you can think “yes… that’s right… it’s just like…” I am 65 years old now and I can say that my adult continuing education keeps getting easier because there are always relevant things in my experience.

————

Distractions

You may have distractions at work still, but let’s face it, are they really as obsessive as your teenage interests? You aren’t going to have to choose between going out on a date and doing some study. You might have to choose between having a nap and study, but my book about exams shows a way round that problem. I’m using it right now!

—–

Exams

Just as your three advantages apply to study, they apply to exams. Were you sick with nerves in your school exams? Your life-career depended on your performance. Now it would be nice to pass, but your experience tells you that you will survive failure, and land on your feet again…so less nerves.

Unless children have wealthy or helpful parents they can’t afford resources that you can afford. For instance, they can afford my free report on writing essays, but not my eBook about passing exams. If you live in a country with timed local phone calls, kids may not be able to do much research on the internet because it costs too much.

There are ways to become a lightning calculator and ways to develop a super memory, and you can afford them all. If you want to learn a language you can probably even afford to get a “superlearning” course that teaches you the language in only fifteen hours.

——————————

Why Adult Continuing Education

All right, you have advantages, but why should you bother with adult continuing education?

* Prevents brain deterioration

* Retraining for a new job

* Self employment

I’ve already covered the effect of study on the brain. You get new brain cells.

In modern times you can only expect to keep one job for a short time. You are going to need to retrain for your next job.

Self-employment. You can’t be sacked if you are self-employed, but you can go broke. It is best to develop your home business part-time until it is earning you twice as much as your job. Then if you are retrenched from your job you won’t care.

Then you won’t need to worry about adult continuing education any more will you? Oops… you will need to keep learning even more when you have your own business. For instance, you are going to have to learn book-keeping unless you can afford an accountant to do the work. If you have to employ people, you will need to learn the laws that apply.

———————

How should you learn?

I prefer to use a correspondence coursefor my adult continuing education, but the big advantage of attending classes is that you can get your questions answered instantly.

My book about exams shows you how to find answers on the internet. You will probably find lots of eBooks about what you want to learn. But will I ever see what I buy on the internet? …you may ask.

Think about it. How much more does it cost an eBook vendor to supply 100 eBooks than it costs for one? That’s right… nothing! If it costs me nothing to supply an eBook, why should I try to rob you? I keep buying new eBooks myself and have never failed to get what I paid for. You can definitely get an adult continuing education online.

The 12 Worst Types do choi nguoi lon Accounts You Follow on Twitter

In one of my past magazine jobs my office was next to that of the book editor. He would get boxes and boxes of books daily. There was a separate room devoted to storing these books, but that still didn’t keep them from piling up in his office. Whenever he returned from vacation he practically had to use a bulldozer to get his door open!

You see the problem, right? How do you get your book noticed, let alone reviewed, when it is just one among stacks of books in an editor’s office? Here are a few tips to help you map out a winning strategy.

1. Determine which magazines are the best for reaching your target market.

As you plan to market your book, decide first who your ideal reader is. Is it a 35-year-old urban professional man? Is it a stay-at-home mom who lives in the Midwest? Is it female college graduates who also happen to be sports fanatics? Once you decide who you’re targeting, ask yourself: What magazines does my ideal reader read? Those will be the magazines you’ll focus on. That way, you won’t waste time and money pursuing dozens of magazines which, even if they did review your book, wouldn’t give you much in terms of gaining readership. With my novel we focused on magazines with large female audiences. Ideally you should be doing this a sextoy nam quran few months before your book comes out because the goal here is to either write a story for the magazine or get interviewed in the magazine, and have the article appear before or just as your book is published.

2. Find out what the editors need.

When you have chosen the magazines, buy them and read them. Do they have a certain writing style? What kinds of articles appear in the magazine again and again? If you can, write, email or call the features editor and find out what kinds of stories the magazine is looking for. You’ll have more success if you can fill the editorial holes the magazine is already working on.

3. Let an editor know what you have to offer.

Start sending query letters to get article assignments. If you have a particular expertise, you can let an editor know that you’re available for interviews if they ever need an expert on a particular subject. Often an editor will assign a story to a writer and give them a few possible interviewees to help them get started. I contacted editors at Essence a full year before my book came out to let them know that I was working as a personal and career coach. Within a few weeks I began getting calls from reporters to interview me for working mom stories for Essence.

4. Mention your book or get it mentioned.

When your article gets published, make sure you get the little italicized blurb at the end that says that you are “a writer whose next book, The Best Book in the World, will be published this month by Big Press, Inc.” You get the idea. If you are being interviewed for an article, chances are they won’t have room to mention your book but you should still tell the reporter about it anyway. You can even ask them to put it in their notes. As the story gets discussed in meetings, someone might say “Did you know she also wrote a book?” This builds awareness.

5. Check in with your contacts, but don’t pester them.

Once your book is sent out for review, you can call or email to make sure that the editor got the book, but leave it at that. You’ve done all you can. I’ve never met the book editor at Essence, but when I heard that he was aware of my novel I was totally psyched. I kept my fingers crossed after that. You can see the review here. One last note: Some magazines and newspapers don’t review self published books. Find out beforehand so you can make your efforts elsewhere if that’s necessary.

20 Questions You Should Always Ask About trứng rung tình yêu sinhly16 Before Buying It

Are you thinking of buying some jewelry? You should know that buying jewelry is not free of risks. There are numerous reasons why a jeweler would want you to know certain things. And the prime amongst them is because you will stop buying jewelry from him! But as wise men have said, ‘all that glitters is not gold’ and ‘every stone that sparkles isn’t a diamond’, so you should be careful and cautious when you go to buy jewelry. Here is a checklist of a few important things that your jeweler would not want you to know.

Diamond Sale? You must be kidding!

Did the recently published diamond jewelry on sale add tempt you enough to visit your local jewelry for a peek at whats on sale? Or did you think, Let me buy that diamond ring that I always wanted. After all, its on sale now! Sorry to burst your bubble, but there is really no such thing as a Diamond Sale! Jewelers cant afford to sell diamond jewelry, in specific, at reduced prices because DeBeers, who controls 65% of the market, wont allow it. The diamond that are actually on ‘sale’ are either flawed or of low quality or both.

The “Perfect” Diamond Myth

Technological and scientific advancements have definitely helped the diamond industry. Now they sell diamonds that have received a facelift. These diamonds appear perfect, flawless and brilliant. But if truth be told, these diamonds are artificially treated using either fracture filling method, a treatment that is used to fill visible cracks in the stone with a glasslike substance or then they are artificial stone because they appear just like the real rock. Needless to say, these treatments make these stones look just like the real thing and are passed off as the real stuff. Be Careful!

Precious Gemstones or Just Dyed Color Beads?

We all know that precious gemstones like emeralds rubies, sapphires are increasingly becoming rare. But did you know that many jewelers pass of colored glass beads as these gemstones and quote you ridiculously high prices for them? Yes. Moreover, many of the real gemstones are subjected to heading or oiling processes to make them look more beautiful. This is not bad, but you must check with the salesperson if they have such stones. If you have doubts, then get the stones appraised from a reliable external source.

African Blood Diamonds

Blood Diamonds? No, we arent talking about the Leo DiCaprio movie. We are talking about the subject of that movie. Diamonds mined in African countries such as Sierra Leone, Angola, or the Congo are called ‘Blood Diamonds’. This is because slave laborers toil endlessly in the mines risking their lives to find diamonds and some of this money is given to warlords who use it to buy weapons to kill innocent civilians. It may not be possible for your jeweler to tell you the origin of the diamond as it changes many hands. Moreover, there is really no way to certify that a diamond is “conflict-free”.

Pearls?

We are sure you already know that there are two types of pearls. Natural and cultured pearls. Did you know that natural pears are rare and very expensive, while cultured pearls are easily available? The sign of a real pearl is the nacre. Thick nacre is indicative of the fact that the pearl you hold in your hand is the real stuff. Nacre is the lustrous natural trứng rung coating that emanates from the nucleus of the pearl and covers it, thus making it glow. Of course, thick nacre means more glow, and a purer pearl. Typically, pearl jewelry that is sold around $150 is made from artificial pearls and not worth investing in as its bound to be spoiled soon.

Antique Jewelry? Sure We have it!

Antique jewelry or estate pieces (pieces crafted between 1890 -1960) are a worthwhile investment, because they are hard to find and can always become the next fashion trend. But not all estate jewelry pieces are authentic and genuinely old. Beware of being conned in buying antique jewelry that has been crafted as recently as 1990 or later and given a finish that makes it look like is it an ancient piece of jewelry. Additionally, dont buy revamped antique jewelry, if you can make out its been revamped of course. Revamping diminishes the value of the piece by almost half. If at all you are buying antique jewelry then get your jeweler to write down the following: when and where the piece was made, its condition, the type of metal or stones used, and whether they’ve been treated, and whether the stones are the original gems.

Extended Jewelry Warranties. Don’t Bother With It!

Jewelers are selling extended warranties for just a few dollars to a few hundred dollars. These warranties become a burden because they cover only partial loss. Youd be better off buying a new insurance policy that can protect your jewelry against all kinds of loss including theft, death by garbage disposal and more.

Remember, caution is the key to buying good jewelry. Always do your research before buying jewelry and stay safe.

duong vat gia: 11 Thing You're Forgetting to Do

The Historical, Cultural and Culinary Delights of South Korea, by Matthew David

Nestled between the nations of China and Japan is the lesser-known country of South Korea. Although sometimes overlooked as a destination spot in the region, this area of Southeast Asia is a wonderful place to visit.

Founded in 1948 when it separated from its sister nation, North Korea, the Republic of Korea became a democratic state at the end of World War II. In 1950, the North invaded the South, causing the Korean War until the two sides signed an armistice in 1953. Both the North and the South have similar, long-standing traditions, but South Korea has become a modern, global economic leader that Western culture has heavily influenced over the last half-century.

South Korea is home to roughly 48 million people of whom about 12 million live in and around the capital and largest city of Seoul. The land area is 38,463 square miles, slightly larger than the state of Indiana. The climate of the region is very mild year-round and residents enjoy all four seasons. The landscape of Korea is mostly mountainous and covered with lush forests in the rural areas, but you can also find rice fields, the country?s staple crop, in many of the valleys.

Top Attractions

Many attractions in the country are sure to lure a variety of travelers. One of the most famous is Gyeongbokgung Palace in Seoul. While the location of the palace is over 600 years old, the actual buildings had been rebuilt a number of times due to invasions and hostile takeovers. The present buildings house both the National Museum of Korea and the National Folk Museum. Once home to kings and rulers, the palace is rich with history, cultural artifacts and architecture, and enjoys a large number of visitors annually.

Those fascinated by the history and culture of the country should also check out the Korean Folk Village located near Seoul. See what life was like for Koreans during the Chosun period (from the 1700s up until 1910) in this 243-acre village. Observe and interact with residents as you encounter them in traditional Korean dress, but do not be fooled. These people are not hired actors. Many of the residents of the village actually live there! Enjoy music, shows, and authentic foods from a long lost but not forgotten chapter in Korean history.

The most popular attraction in South Korea is cu giả the Demilitarized Zone, or DMZ, in Panmunjom. Set at the 38th parallel, this area is where the democratic South borders the communist North. Here you will witness propaganda from both sides of the border. See what the North wants visitors to see as a stable, booming economy, complete with elaborate buildings and highways, but in actuality is a sluggish, repressed society, as shown by the South. Many South Koreans have family and friends still living in the North that they have had no contact with for over fifty years. Travel and communication between sides is prohibited and the hope is that, one day, an end to dictatorial rule will open up the border once again.

On South Koreas west coast, in the city of Incheon, you can visit the Incheon Landing Operation Memorial Hall. This site is a memorial to General Douglas MacArthurs combat operation that led to the liberation of Seoul during the Korean War. There are also a variety of amusements and maritime attractions in the vicinity for visitors to enjoy.

Some festivals that visitors should consider in their itinerary include the Chunhyang Festival, the Nankye Traditional Music Festival, and the celebration of Buddhas birthday. The Chunhyang Festival occurs annually in Namwon. Chunyang is the Korean equivalent of the story of Romeo and Juliet. Many visitors come to this festival in the beginning of May to experience Korean dance, music, and parades. The Miss Chunyang Pageant is held on the last day of the festival. The Nankye Traditional Music Festival is a celebration of Nankye, a Korean composer who is said to have created Chosun Dynasty Korean Music. This type of music is a beautiful ensemble of strings, winds and percussion that produce a sound unique to Korean culture. This event is held annually in Yongdong in September. The celebration of Buddhas birthday is held in May all over the country. Many Buddhist temples hold festivals and parades on this holiday that is celebrated by many Koreans, regardless of faith.

Culinary Delights

While traveling in South Korea, visitors can enjoy a variety of culinary delights. Most dishes are spicier than most Western palates are used to, however. The favorite of most travelers is pulgogi. This is a traditional Korean dish that consists of marinated slices of beef with rice and vegetables that is then wrapped in a leaf of lettuce. Along with rice, another staple food of Korean culture is kimchi. This side dish is typically served with every meal. Kimchi is a mix of fermented vegetables, usually cabbage, and is especially hot and spicy. Since it is eaten regularly, there are many variations of kimchi to choose from. For those less adventuresome, many Western restaurants have made their way to Seoul and surrounding cities, so those who want to experience the culture but cannot handle spicy foods, there’s usually a McDonalds or a KFC around the corner.

Geometry Homework Help: Some Ways To Help Overcome Your Frustration With High School Geometry

I know you. I have seen you in my geometry classroom many times over the last 29 years. You have always, and I mean always, been a very good math student. You made good grades in Algebra with very little effort, and you have always liked math. But now you are taking high school geometry, and you are really frustrated. Youve got good study habits; you pay attention in class, ask questions, and do your homework. But for some reason this strange course just doesnt make sense to you and you find yourself even requiring some additional help with geometry homework, which has never happened before. Heck, in past math courses you were the one that could give others help!

To make matters worse, you are seeing classmates who had trouble with Algebra suddenly doing very well in geometry, understanding it, and actually enjoying math for the first time in their lives. Not that youre not happy for those fellow learners, but you cant understand why this course is so different from the other math courses you have taken, and why are you not able to grasp it?

High school geometry is a strange creature. In my 29 years of teaching high school geometry I have seen the above scenario played out over and over again. Just what is it that makes this course so different? And what are some strategies that will help frustrated students master this course that sometimes seems so strange?

First of all, if you duong vat gia are experiencing frustration with your high school geometry course, it is very important for you to realize that this is quite common, especially early in the course. Please know that most students do get past the confusion and frustration if they dont give up. Practice the techniques Im going to give you, continue to work hard, and even though it takes longer for some than others, that light bulb should eventually light up for you.

It might help if you understand why geometry is so different from other math courses. A traditional high school geometry course is about logic. It is abstract. It requires a different way of thinking. It is not what I call cookbook mathematics where one is given a recipe and merely has to follow that recipe in solving every problem. Geometry is not about a lot of drill and practice. It is about critical thinking, learning concepts and principles and knowing when and how to apply them.

It is true that previous Algebra courses required critical thinking skills as well, but not to the extent that geometry requires them. However, as you work at honing these critical thinking skills in high school geometry, there are some simple, straight forward skills that also must be mastered if you are to succeed.

Learn all the terms and definitions as they are presented. This is absolutely essential. The same goes for postulates and theorems. And dont just memorize them; as a matter of fact you dont have to memorize them word for word. But make sure you have a very clear understanding of what each term means. I often told my students You cant expect to solve a problem about a scalene triangle if you dont know what a scalene triangle is. Develop your geometry vocabulary.

Dont rush through your geometry homework. Your goal shouldnt be to just get it done so that you are finished with it but to really understand it. Before you tackle the assigned problems, review your notes from class and look over the corresponding material in your textbook. As you work through the homework problems, check your answers with those provided in the back of the book. If you have something wrong, go back and rethink it. If you still cant figure it out, put a star or check mark by that problem to remind you to ask the teacher about it the next time the class meets.

Finally, when you have finished your homework assignment, make yourself think just a little more! Resist the urge to immediately slam your book closed and put your work away. Spend just a few minutes looking back over the problems and thinking about what you had to do on each one. Developing this habit of reflecting on your work can reap huge benefits in understanding and remembering important concepts. The more you understand and remember from each assignment, the less youll have to study and review when it comes exam time.

Where Will dương vật giả Be 1 Year From Now?

Hmmm, my thoughts tonight will definitely be different from most of my blogs. I have touched on so many emotions in the past and I am still feeling the need to share yet another. I have spoken on women’s issues mainly, yet trying to keep men on a fair plain, mainly due to the facts and studies that more women experience self-esteem issues and jealousy monsters than men. Most of our emotions are gender friendly, except of course the ever so dreaded PMS and Menopause thingy. Although I have heard in passing that men do go through Menopause in a similar way. I will leave that for another article! (wink) If you have noticed throughout my blogs, that I have tried to remind everyone that I am speaking of both genders, even if I keep saying women. This is after all, a take off from my women’s self-esteem website.

I know you are all wondering, hmmm, “What is this article going to be about?”

Well.. it is going to be about “SEX”! Now I know I have your attention.

Is it not strange how anything that has the word, “SEX” in it, catches every ones eyes. Oh, do not even say, “Not me”. It is a three letter word that has more punch than Mohhamad Ally`s fist. No offence meant there. On a more serious note, SEX is definitely a key in ones well being, or higher self esteem. When we feel sexy, we can jump the highest wall and climb the tallest mountain. Yes, I am speaking to adults on this one. After all, it is when we reach adulthood that life becomes so complicated, and all the insecurities begin to control ones mind. We also find”SEX”. It is so a part of what makes a very stable beginning to a relationship, which one hopes flows into a marriage partnership. Again, please do not say, “I never had premarital SEX”. My parents had it, so I know everyone else in the world did too. Okay, I will maybe let 10 people get away with it. I am trying to incorporate self-esteem with relationships because a lot of what goes on between a man and a woman will trigger off ones deep inner emotions such as self esteem.

I have asked a few people of both genders, this question: “Why do people eventually forget what they have at home?” Is it because one or both have stopped trying to impress the other? Hmmm. Why would one stop trying to look good for their mate? Do you want your mate to fantasize of someone else in order to have SEX? (harsh, I know, but it is a truth) Do you talk to you mate in bed? Why not? After and during SEX, is the best time to talk to each other. Life is sweet after SEX and no one wants to get off the “Good feeling plateau”. The answers I received were shrugged shoulders to start with, which is really sad. It was more like, “DUH”. One man actually was excited to give his answer, “Damn, I agree”. That was about it. Again I say, “Sad”! Men and Women need to learn how to talk. I mean talk about their true grit feelings. Example: “Baby, am I sexy enough for you, I mean is there anything I can do to make you want me more?” Or if you desires something different from yours partner in SEX, you should be able to ask it without the fear of hurting the others feelings. Or having to calm them down from an, “Oh, so you don’t like me the way I am?”!!! We all fall into a first impulse scenario, especially if we have even the slightest insecurity. SEX is suppose to be fun and open and raw. Women, listen to me now, your man loves your body, he really does. SEX is non judgemental. That’s what cu giả sinhly16 I like about it. Passion through SEX is the most natural emotion that we have been blessed with. Why? It is because it is involving true emotion, there is no room for worry or before thoughts, which I call fabricated emotions. Once we have turned the wheels of the SEX engine, we are good to go. It is pure and clearly set.

Our bodies become our maps to nothing but good feelings and becoming one with our partner. Our partner is no more thinking of a movie he saw, or the perfect person that crossed their paths, than they are about work the next day. It is just the two of you, it is purely sweet SEX. We allow ourselves through our weaknesses to put up walls that keep us from opening our self to our partner. We know we crave them to become one with us, to inhale their oh so sweet body smells, and to feel the sexual adrenaline flow through our veins. Is that not enough to break down the walls of worry and insecurities? Many partners do not even know whats going on when their partners are in this stage of detachment. They will be tempted to take it as a rejection. We all know that once we feel rejected, we tend to not ask questions, thus closing the doors. SEX is totally the last thing on your mind when you feel that, resulting in both parties now setting up walls. What I am saying here is that it is soooo important to communicate with your partner. If you do not feel sexy or you just think maybe you smell bad, (shush), you are committed to tell them. When one knows that the other is not into SEX because they are feeling low about themselves, the norm will actually try very hard to break down those damn insecurity walls. That’s where TRUST and SEX are joined. With out those two friends, there is noooo orgasms. I know everyone luvz those. To get orgasms you must engage in SEX. There is no need for words, or I dids, or I did not`s. It is just REAL FEELINGS between two people. Can you actually say after SEX with your partner, that you feel low or insecure? NOPE!..well HELLO then, maybe it is time to look at SEX as not just a perk in a relationship. Time to look at SEX as an answer to bringing your lows to highs. People pay good money for therapists, and ruin their bodies taking drugs to get those feelings. WHY, when we have the cure right in front of us? And with a willing partner at your feet to do your bidding? Need I say more? It’s probably the first thing one shuts down when they feel their self esteem taking the wrong turn. Well then in that case, you need to address it immediately and grab your partner and just have SEX. Don`t laugh, I am serious. Tease each other, make each other laugh. It will take one second of body play to get the veins filled with hot blood, that triggers off your sexual appetite, then it is the big “O” from there! Oh and guess what, no more low self esteem feelings. WOOT!!!

One`s self-esteem rises and falls like waves!

Once it hits bottom it is time for emotional housecleaning and much needed SEX!

How the 10 Worst duong vat gia Fails of All Time Could Have Been Prevented

What to do and see in and around Prague

Prague Castle

Former residence of the Princes and Kings of Bohemia and now the seat of the President, Prague Castle is an intrinsic part of Prague and a wonderful place to explore, with its Crown Jewels, St. Vitus Cathedral and changing of the guards at the Castle gates. Any literary fans will also be interested to visit Golden Lane in the castle grounds where Franz Kafka once lived.

Charles Bridge

Charles Bridge is a hive of activity day and night and is an important part of this vibrant city, not least because it is the main thoroughfare linking the chim giả Old Town with Mala Strana on the opposite side of the river. Lined with souvenir stands and talented artists and musicians this 13th century bridge always makes for an entertaining stroll.

Astronomical Clock

Pragues Astronomical Clock can be found on the side of the Old Town Hall. Dating back to the 15th century this magnificent time piece is easy to spot as typically a crowd gathers in front of it every hour on the hour in time for the procession of the Twelve Apostles, during which a small trap door opens and Christ leads the way ahead of his disciples.

Josefov Prague Ghetto

Pragues Jewish quarter is home to some of the cities most colourful and wonderful buildings such as the bright Jubilee Synagogue and the gothic style Old-New Synagogue dating back to the 13th century. It is also home to the New Jewish cemetery where Franz Kafka was buried.

Powder Tower

Star Trek: The Next Generation (1987) became the dÆ°Æ¡ng vật giả butterfly first TV series to follow on the heels of the original, and its success would spark the creation of three additional series – Star Trek: Deep Space Nine (1993), Star Trek: Voyager (1995), and Star Trek: Enterprise (2001). But The Next Generation remained the most popular spin-off. Despite new characters and new episodes, the mission remained the same as before – “to boldly go where no man has gone before” And to continue the rich tradition of the Star Trek name – a mission Star Trek: The Next Generation accomplishes with relative ease

Star Trek: The Next Generation takes place in the 24th Century, almost one-hundred years after Captain Kirk’s crew set out to explore strange new worlds. Capt. Jean-Luc Picard (Patrick Stewart – I Claudius) commands the USS Enterprise-D and its diverse crew of humans, cyborgs, and varying life forms. Accompanying him on his voyage is an entirely new cast of passengers and crew including Commander William T. Riker (Jonathan Frakes – North & South), Lt. Commander Data (Brent Spiner), Lt. Commander Geordi La Forge (LeVar Burton), Lt. Tasha Yar (Denise Crosby), Lt. Worf (Michael Dorn), Dr. Beverly Crusher (Gates McFadden), and her son Ensign Wesley Crusher (Wil Wheaton) Together, they struggle against numerous obstacles to carry out the mission of the USS Enterprise: “To explore strange new worlds To seek out new life; new civilizations To boldly go where no one has gone before!” This pioneering attitude, coupled with imaginative and brilliantly-produced alien worlds, provides Star Trek with its unique allure and special place within American pop culture – especially those episodes from the original series, widely regarded as the most popular of the Star Trek franchise

The Star Trek: The Next Generation DVD features a number of exciting episodes including the series premiere “Encounter at Farpoint” in which the newly built USS Enterprise-D, commanded by Capt. Jean Luc Picard, is tasked with its first mission – to explore the area in and around Farpoint Station. But while carrying out their mission, the crew and passengers encounter a powerful life form known only as “Q”. The being accuses the human race of high crimes against the galaxy, and he threatens to destroy all of humanity. Now, Capt. Picard and his crew must think fast, or else risk total annihilation Other notable episodes from Season 1 include “The Battle” in which a mind-control device placed of a former ship of Capt. Picard forces him to re-live a battle from his past (with the USS Enterprise as the target!), and “Coming of Age” in which Wesley takes the Starfleet Academy entrance exam while Capt. Picard turns down a promotion in order to stay with the Enterprise
